About Me

I'm a twenty two year old MA student in Magazine Journalism at Nottingham Trent University. My current career trajectory is one of a student journalist.

I've written and talked about music for The Mic Magazine, The Indiependent journal, Leftlion Magazine, Nightswim PR agency and University Radio Nottingham.

My immediate career aims lie in staff and freelance writing, PR and marketing but my broader passions encompass all facets of writing fiction/ non fiction and producing/playing music.

Here, you'll find album, single and live show reviews, interviews, rambling blog posts, radio shows based around electronic, indie and folk music and features on other subjects that I'm interested in.

I've played piano since was eight, bass guitar since I was fourteen. At fifteen, I started making music on Ableton and Logic Pro. At seventeen, during sixth form, I wrote about my music in an 'extended project qualification', which was worth half an A Level. You'll find that project in the 'writing' section of this portfolio. I hope that you enjoy reading/listening to my work as much as I did making it.

Have a beautiful day,

Caradoc x
